3/17 - Arrival & Welcome

Welcome to the vibrant city of Cartagena! We will be awaiting your arrival at our beautiful accommodations, right in the heart of Getsemani! Once you have settled in, join us for a delightful 'Group Dinner', where you’ll indulge in local flavors and get to know your fellow travelers. It’s the perfect introduction to the energy and culture of Cartagena!

3/18 - Beach Club Getaway

It’s time to unwind with a 'Beach Day' for the books! We’ll visit a stunning Beach Club, where you can relax in cabanas by the sea, enjoy water activities, partake in a delicious lunch and bask in the sun. When we return…enjoy some free time to reflect on your experience OR join us in the evening, as the fun continues with a 'Street Food adventure'—tour the streets of Cartagena and savor delicious bites.

3/19 - El Totumo & Salsa Night

Get ready to "get it out the mud"…in the best way possible at the 'El Totumo Mud Volcano'! Relax and rejuvenate as you take a dip in this natural thermal mud bath, followed by a group lunch to fuel up for the next adventure. After you rinse and repeat…get dolled up and step into the rhythm of the night, as we go 'Salsa Dancing at the iconic Cafe Havana'. Whether you're a pro or a beginner, the music and energy will have you moving!

3/20 - Shopping Tour & Photoshoot

Spend the day exploring the vibrant local markets and shops on our 'Shopping Tour'. From colorful artisan crafts to specially curated boutiques, there’s something for everyone! In the late afternoon, it’s time to pop out & show ‘em with a 'Professional Photoshoot' in the most picturesque parts of Cartagena—as they capture your best angles, you’ll get some stunning shots to commemorate a truly unforgettable trip.

3/21 - A Day in Palenque

Explore the roots of Afro-Colombian culture with a 'Tour of Palenque', where you'll immerse yourself in the rich history and traditions of the first free Black town in the Americas! Enjoy a dance performance, tour and authentic local cuisine. As the day winds down, join us for a beautiful 'Farewell Dinner', where we’ll toast to sisterhood, share our favorite moments, savor exquisite dishes and celebrate the unforgettable experience we’ve had together!

Xen the "Big Hair Bawse" is a businesswoman, world traveler and human trafficking abolitionist with degrees in social welfare and marketing. She also has a background in education, grassroots organizing and host of experience working with nonprofits and international organizations.

She prides herself in finding great travel deals and meticulously planning out all the details of epic trips abroad. She is big on traveling safely, affordably and efficiently. You can count on her to make sure you have fun and get a good photo op.
